CMS Enacts Final Rule Mandating Minimum Staffing Levels for Long-Term Care Facilities - Much welcomed!

Virtually everyone has had, has or will have a loved one in a long-term care facility, but for some staffing levels has been inadequate and patient safety compromised in the pursuit of fatter profits by operators. 

The goal of the new rule is to ensure safe and quality care in long-term care facilities.
